Itinerary
Mahakaleshwar Temple: Mahakaleshwar Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, a revered shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located in Ujjain, it is known for its ancient architecture and spiritual significance, attracting pilgrims from all over India.
Ujjain Corridor: The Ujjain Corridor refers to the bustling marketplace and spiritual hub around the Mahakaleshwar Temple. It offers a vibrant mix of shops selling religious items, souvenirs, and local handicrafts, providing a glimpse into the local culture and traditions.
Ram Ghat Aarti: The Ram Ghat Aarti is a mesmerizing ritual held on the banks of the Shipra River in Ujjain. It involves offering prayers to the river goddess Yamuna during sunset, accompanied by chanting, music, and the lighting of lamps, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere.
Har Siddhi Temple: Har Siddhi Temple is dedicated to Goddess Siddhi, believed to fulfill the wishes of devotees. It is located near the Mahakaleshwar Temple and is known for its unique architectural style and religious significance in Ujjain.
Kal Bhairav Temple: Kal Bhairav Temple is a famous shrine dedicated to Lord Bhairav, a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva. It is renowned for its rituals and the unique offering of alcohol as prasad (offering) to the deity, symbolizing liberation from worldly desires.
Shakti Peeth: Ujjain is associated with one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, revered as places of worship where parts of Goddess Sati’s body fell. The exact location and deity vary in different texts, but Ujjain holds significance in the Shakta tradition of Hinduism.
Sandipani Ashram: Sandipani Ashram is an ancient hermitage in Ujjain where Lord Krishna and Balram are believed to have received their education from Sage Sandipani. It serves as a spiritual and educational center, attracting devotees and seekers of knowledge.
Day 1: Departure from Pune/Mumbai
- Pune: Departure from Sangamwadi bus parking no. 2 starting at 6.00pm.
- Departure towards Ujjain in sleeper Volvos.
Day 2: Arrival in Ujjain, Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple – Harsiddhi temple – Ram Ghat Yamuna aarti
- Early morning arrival in Ujjain, followed by hotel check-in and breakfast.
- Visit to Mahakaleshwar temple via auto-rickshaws.
- Lunch arrangements adjusted according to temple visit schedules; a substantial breakfast is recommended.
- Explore Har Siddhi temple and attend the Yamuna aarti at Ram Ghat at 6.00pm.
- Free time for shopping and nocturnal exploration of the local corridor.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch provided.
Day 3: Ujjain Sightseeing
- Visit to Kal Bhairav temple, Stheerman Ganesha temple (constructed by Ram and Sita), and Mangalnath temple.
- Tour of Sandipani Ashram, where Lord Krishna and Balram received their education.
- Special lunch featuring Malva delicacies such as Dal Bafla.
- Retrieval of luggage from the hotel.
- Departure for the Volvo pickup point at 5.00pm.
- Return journey commences.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch provided.
Day 4: Return Pune/Mumbai
- Arrival in Pune/Mumbai according to scheduled Volvo timings.
- Note:
- You can book your seat at just Rs. 4000/- and pay the rest 25 days before the event date.
- The Mumbai/Pune bus ticket fare is dynamic and will be higher if booked at the last moment, on long weekends, or on festival dates. Please book in advance to avoid paying extra
